Yesterday's workout summed up in one picture:
She held me down, what was I supposed to do? I guess that 4 mile "long" run on Sunday was equivalent to a normal runner's marathon. I'm ok with that for now. I was planning on going to some MLK Day events in town, one of which was a march...but we woke up to these temperatures so I sent my solidarity in spirit from inside my warm apartment.
Can you see the fish and fishing pole in the background of the phone screen?
I logged into work (into or in to?? grammar buffs help me out) and watched the inauguration, grateful for my big ole heater and the ability to work from home. Actually I don't really "log in" but I do work from home and I wanted to sound like I have a cool log in system.
The old school tv, the huge speakers, the 2005 computer...try not to be jealous of my cutting edge technology.
We ended the day in the best way possible: going to our friends' house to watch the Red Wings home opener! They pulled out a shoot-out win, yay!
The guys and the dogs. And no, Frank does not feel like less of a man because of his dog versus the other dog :)
My friend is the smartest and made dark chocolate fondue with strawberries, marshmallows, and rice crispy treats for dipping.
And look, their doggy wears a light when he goes out at night :)
Any other hockey fans??
Ever had fondue? Favorite thing to dip in it??
