A promise that this is the last day I will talk about my birthday.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday that I basically forced upon you by counting down my birthday since October!! :) 

Somehow yesterday was the day that my internship office was celebrating birthdays. I don't exactly know how that worked out because I am pretty sure that they didn't know it was my birthday until yesterday. We went to a fancy-ish REVOLVING restaurant at the top of a hotel that is the tallest building in town. It was pretty cool because if you stay at your table for an hour, you spin all the way around and get every view of the city.

I spent the entire time taking pictures and I actually got a little sea sick. Is that possible?

 
Good thing I took a picture of my food to show Frank because I had forgotten what I got. I was pretty distracted by the spinning and all.

When I got home at 5, we decided it was too cold to go back out for dinner (I will leave out the part about it being -8 and our heat not working for most of the evening and me not noticing until my downstairs neighbor called to ask if it was also freezing in our apartment). We ordered a shrimp and pesto pizza because I forgot that I actually don't like shrimp. I picked them off and everything was fine.

Do you see my birthday present propped up by the pizza? An OXO can opener! I cannot wait to use it and yes, I realize I have reached a new level of lame.

Have you ever been to a revolving restaurant? I didn't even know this existed in Duluth until I got there. And I'm not going to lie, it took me a while to realize we were spinning...
